Some of the most beautiful beaches in the Netherlands are just a stone's throw away from Camping Zuiderduin. The province of Zeeland is known for its clean, wide beaches and extensive dunes, perfect for a relaxing day at the seaside, a long walk on the beach or an active day of water sports.

Wide beaches and clean swimming water

The beaches in the vicinity of our campsite are awarded the Blue Flag year after year – an international quality mark for clean and safe swimming water. Whether you want to sunbathe, paddle with the little ones or kick a ball around, there is something for everyone.

The nearest beach is literally around the corner. You can walk there via a beautiful path through the dunes. This beach is wide, well-organised and has lifeguards in high season, making it ideal for families with children.

Well-known beaches in the vicinity

• Zoutelande – This beach faces south, which is quite unique in the Netherlands. As a result, you can often enjoy extra hours of sunshine here. It is a popular spot, but thanks to the extensive coastline, it never feels too crowded.
• Dishoek – About a 15-minute drive from the campsite. Here you can look out over the sea with ships sailing surprisingly close to the coast – a remarkable sight! There are also beach pavilions where you can enjoy lunch or a drink with a view of the waves.
• Westkapelle – Known for its sturdy sea wall and rugged beach. Perfect for long walks or getting some fresh air in a quieter spot.
